“Let her go.
Let it all go.
Discover that who you are is more important.
Most of all, discover the Most Important Thing.

I tell you this on a spiritual level.
For you did not come back the next night.
Though I knew what I wanted to say.
But even this is God’s plan.

You doubt God’s love: I know you must feel this way.
Looking around this room, I doubt it too.
True hopelessness shuts my mouth
And my feelings issue forth from my eyes.

You will not end in hopelessness.
Your pain will come to an end.
God watches over you, most beloved child.
You will dance with the joyful.”

-Dan Goble

“Your mother speaks that same way as my mother
Your father looks at you with the same loving face my father looks at me with Your siblings tease and care for you the same as mine
Your home is the city, thank you for welcoming me
My home has shutters and a front porch I would love for you to visit
You wake up unfamiliar with your surroundings and who are these people pushing you out the door to the street?
I wakeup in my room, my favorite place to be
I sit and drink coffee, maybe I wont go to work today
I want your family to eat dinner with my family
I want your mom to talk to my mom and your dad to talk to my dad
We can sit in your city and on my front porch, we will share our differences and celebrate our similarities”
